Electoral structure changes
The 2020-21 redivision of State electoral boundaries made the following changes to Bayswater District.
Bayswater District lost:
- 8,434 voters to Croydon District (Bayswater North and Kilsyth South)
- 1,870 voters to Monbulk District (most of The Basin; part of Boronia)
- 7,531 voters to Ringwood District (Heathmont; part of Ringwood).
Bayswater District gained:
- 21,821 voters from Ferntree Gully District (most of Ferntree Gully and Wantirna; parts of Boronia, Knoxfield and Wantirna South)
- 1,450 voters from Rowville District (part of Ferntree Gully).
